Just wanted to say thx! The library works great and has helped me to add some useful stuff to my Mac Touchbar.
That is pretty sweet, very nice demo of the library's abilities.

Really is. @jcl do you want to share how you did that?

I've added the example script

Code: Select all

btt.py
to this repo: https://github.com/jordicl/jlrpy. The updated Readme contains a small description. Please note I just quickly cobbled something together. A proper Python developer might start crying ;-)

Note that you don't need to fork my repo to do this. You can simply install jlrpy with pip.

Code: Select all

pip install jlrpy

You're right! But I started when it was not available through pip and I wanted to add the Python logging framework so I could disable the default debug output. I'll clean it up and move it to it's own repo soon.

Thanks so much for this, I am not a developer but do a lot for work in Windows Powershell, I have been able to follow your notes on git hub and get a windows powershell script logged in and returning user details and vehicle details. (albeit i don't have my car yet so vehicle=null!).

Looking forward to having a good play with this when i get my car!

Glad you found it useful! Link to the full API documentation is in the README in case you missed it.

Cheers!

@jcl,
Could you screenshot your BTT setting? Run Script results keeps giving me "Error/Nothing was returned"
