Yes I have had this although in all cases almost bang on 30 mins after charging had started and unconnected to door opening

That must be it then. My problem was the 150kWHr units at Crow Orchard. Now that you say that I had a similar experience whilst scouring the SouthWest rapids for practice purposes. The Instavolt 100kWHr unit on the A303 (Route 303 Cafe) stopped charging when I opened the driver’s door to read the display. It was early on in my I-Pace ownership and wanted to try out different networks before embarking on longer journeys. I didn’t need a full charge but just enough to take up to about £5.01.

I never had that with my MY21.
I can get in, out, start heaters and everything.

That only thing that annoys me that sounds similar is, when stop driving and get out of the car, I hit P and when I open the door the car turns off.
That feels wrong to me when I just want to open the garage or smth.

On mine. Open door first then unclip seat belt. Car stays on. Unclip Sear belt and open door car shuts down.

The ones by J 27 of the M6?

They are annoying because the displays show nothing useful like SoC or charge rate just endlessly scrolling ads.

Yes, M6 J27. Usefully positioned for a trip to the North West.
Didn’t get adverts though. Did get a display similar to the Osprey units.

They must have fixed that since I tried it shortly after they opened the chargers just had less ads of ads for the chargers when I tried.

Never got much above 80 kWh as a charge rate though despite a low SoC and a good whizz around Wrightington to warm up the battery too

To my experience (MY19) charging stops when you unlock or open the door if you are connected to an AC charger (up to 22kW nominally, of which the I-Pace will only draw 7.5)
When connected to a DC charger ( mostly between 50-350kW) charging continues unless you double unlock (press unlock twice on the keyfob) or open the door and then unlock again using the keyfob.
