Filtering out Superchargers in Navigation

Post by RS1980 » Thu Apr 01, 2021 10:07 pm

Hi,

I recently tried to test the I-Pace Pivi Pro Navigation system and its capability to automatically find DC chargers if the SOC is not sufficient to reach the destination.
To my astonishment, the Navigation system proposed 2 stops, each of them at a Tesla Supercharger to reach my destination. I looked the locations up in Google Maps: These were real Superchargers, not Type2 Destination Chargers or sth.

As I doubt that the rumor on the Tesla-Jaguar deal is true - is there a way to filter out Tesla Superchargers to be proposed as chargers on my route? Otherwise, the Navigation system seams to be pretty useless when it comes to planning longer trips. I better rely on ABRP or similar...
Or should I just try and find out myself if it works?

Just out of curiosity I tried and - as expected - failed to get a single Wh out of the Supercharger. The supermarket DC charger on the other side of the road however worked fine :-D

I asked the dealer and he is not aware how to filter out superchargers - really annoying.

Now we know 😁 (still). Somebody must have loaded it on some open EV site. Don't expect all tesla points to be there.

Indeed not aware about setting to avoid a network,
but in Electric Vehicle (EV) settings you can select preferred networks. Suppose if you have enough mainstream networks added, it will avoid most you don't want to see.

Selecting preferred networks seems to be gone in MY21 with PiviPro. There is only a filter for payment methods. I disabled subscription, cash and credit card (only app and rfid lef), but still the system selects superchargers.
Sent a mail to jaguar hotline, until then stick ABRP

Is the JLR SatNav system using the Here API to locate EV charger ? I don't know, but it seems to be an API for that
