I-Pace Q4 2020 Sales Hit New Record

OK Q1-Q3 sales are rather disappointing - but Q4 results broke a quarterly record.

Anyone know if production has moved from Austria to UK yet? (was that the issue Q1-Q3?) - or if indeed production will now not move - post Brexit deal.

Trying to work out why in a world of increasing BEV sales (despite Covid) I-Pace sales were in decline (Q1-Q3) and then suddenly took off in Q4 - just curious.

I don't think they were ever planning to move production from Austria to the UK, the Castle Bromwich plant was being made ready for new EV's such as the XJ and J-Pace, not to move the I-Pace.

I don't think moving production to the UK was ever a real consideration, now even less.
In Q2 the factories were closed, Q3 was (I assume) the transition to the new MY.
Sales in Q4 took off because of the availability of the MY2021 and the lower-priced EV320.

Still made in Austria and also they had a nice employee discount at the end of 2020 so probably that also helped with the sales
