I had a quite funny, close to scary experience at Ionity yesterday. I got more than 100kw charging, from 7 - 65% Soc... And now more scary... the following charging session the same... 2 in a row :o

I borrowed the charging chart from Fastned and but my charging curve in. Quite nice performance I would say:

The Battery temperature went up to 49 degress Celsius, cooling fan startet right at 40 degress ...

I will reconfirm this charging today, maybe I found a bug in JLRs limiting software ;-)

As you called this "Warnblinker" : Did you had the hazard lights on for this charging sessions? And the car unlocked?

I can remember: At my best charging session so far in August (posted pictures here Aug, 24th in this thread), I also had the car unlocked and Aux power on the whole time (what I normally do not do...), but I did not have the hazard lights on.
This all sounds more like voodoo ...

My best record at a fast charging station was also this Aug, the car was unlocked, and Aux power was on because I was updating this graph in the car's browser. The orange graph, right axis, is quite similar to yours except that at 60% of SOC it did not went back to 100kw.

No need, my German is perfect, it says that with the new cabin filter you can fart as much as you wish. Have any one tried the carbon pollen filters in the I-Pace, are they worth the extra money?

Update to the scary charging behaviour...

I tried this 4 times in a row now.... I got 4 times 100kw charging speed... It stays higher for a longer period, if battery temperature is rising fast ... it will go up to 45-48 degrees during charging... according to Outside Temperature, the fan for battery cooling starts at 41 degrees or 45 degrees

Charging performance with 8 degrees OAT Start 6% SoC:

Charging performance with 23 degrees OAT Start 11%SoC:

B8A6F463-0044-4F99-9593-8A5D241E727E.jpeg

I will draw a charging curve for the cooler OAT later today...

Also a miracle to me... the BECMS software changes version if you do the voodoo trick:

Normal version:

BA465015-CC07-4D92-9208-C5B075263075.jpeg

Voodoo version:

CF0FAA4A-7AF9-4DB6-9894-5D07ADE6EA16.jpeg

How can that happen?

The voodoo trick is to turn on the hazard lights... jep, once again the hazard lights... turn them on before you plug the car to the charger... tested it 4 times... 4 times full speed charging... turned the hazard lights off during charging and 2 minutes later, speed was reduced to 80kw

Someone round a HPC Charger today or tomorrow? Please test it... i will do so on Thursday to Sunday 🤪

Maybe interesting to not have your warning lights on the next time - you now had it 4x in a row however maybe it also works without all the special stuff?
It could have been coincidence that speeds reduced after you switched off warning lights.

Maybe jaguar logic says that if you're in a hazardous situation (why else have the lights on?) you want to charge and move on quickly to get out of the hazard?

Fascinating... Rather than "scary", I would use "promising"...

Anyway, Jelle, I think that CaptainJag already addressed your suggestion: when he turns off the hazard lights, charging fell back to 80kW rather than 100+...

Captain, how do you measure the battery temp? OBDII and the beta version of power cruise control?
