I was reviewing the 2021 I-Pace brochure and found this sentence:

"As the public charging infrastructure improves, I-PACE is equipped to accept up to a 150 kW DC charge rate for improved charge time."

I recall some talk about 120 kW, but this is the first time that I've read anything about 150 kW. I'll be interested to see if this pans out when the MY21 I-PACE start rolling out.
Good spot Vandy2020. I see that too, on page 16. That would be a nice upgrade.

I keep trying the software update from 18.2 to 19.2 but the car always says no update available...immediately, as if it didn't even spend time looking. It makes me think I won't be able to update that way.
At last I have my i Pace SE Firenze Red. Ordered 28th Feb, arrived 29th July. Broke 2nd August  Back on the road again 7th August :D

FastNed HPC charging yesterday evening after 160km drive turned out quite fast.
50,9 kwh in 30 minutes time should be nice.
Start at 9% SoC.

Can you please tell us your software versions installed on the car?
Do you already have 19.2 TCU Software?

Looks promising 👍

Impressive - best I have seen so far was 49.695 in 30 minutes (6% to 63%).

EDIT: Actually it is REALLY bad that I am calling it out as Impressive as this is the advertised speed so it should be normal.

My update screen does not show any version of TCU nor BECM. I have had all the updates H264v3 and so on.
Please be aware that most times I do not get more than 84 kw speed. Sometimes however even over 100kw (FastNed, Ionity's new chargers in Belgium). The temperature of the battery should be warm enough (after long driving) and you really have to start under 10% SoC.

You need to press the bottom "search update" once or twice for it to show if it shows anything at all.

Unfortunately it does not show anything, I will ask dealer next week to check and install TCU 19.2

That goes for me as well. I am also on 16.2 but gets OTA for infotainment. Will we get OTA for Telematics or do we need to visit the dealer?

/Øystein
Your car should update TCU when it’s released without the need for a dealer visit.
I hoped that this update via OTA might be true but checked with the Jaguar Customer Experience Centre; sadly their reply was: "Thank you for contacting the Jaguar Land Rover Customer Experience Centre. Currently TCU updates can only be carried out at the retailer, however, we are looking into the avenue of customers being able to action them over the air.
Yours sincerely, UK Customer Experience Centre"

Actually, this has now changed. I received a TCU update via OTA yesterday, and several others have as well recently. See this thread: https://www.i-paceforum.com/threads/pro ... post-65885

User jagrobbo100 here works at a dealership and was kind enough to push me the update. Any dealership service department should be capable though. However, they have to flip the switch in Topix otherwise you won't receive it.

In the German Auto Motor und Sport, Heft 20 there's 15 pages about the I-Pace. Also here it says 150kw "Schnelladen" or 127 km in 15minutes.
I find it very strange that Jaguar haven't made an official statement about this.
The PiviPro is also tested. They find it very intuitive and "blitzschnell". It doesn't even have the Alzheimer-syndrome.
