I have never used Low Regen yet and never will, driving with High Regen is a far better experience ....
Er, how can you know high regen is a "far better driving experience" if you've never tried low regen? :?
Because I did try it when test driving the car before buying, since the first time I drove my own car it has always been in High regeneration. Also, you get a similar experience of what Low regen is like when driving the car when it is charged to 100% until about 85 - 90% when there is no or very little regen. I don't like it, but I know I don't have an option when in that situation. One pedal driving is a great benefit of an EV.

Ah, interesting use of the word "never", then? :lol:

Anyone any idea what sort of a hit driving from North Yorkshire to Blackpool on the M62 over the Pennines is going to take?

Any guesses for what's going to be left in the tank after 120 miles at 70mph with a 3000 ft climb in it? 20%, 30% if I'm lucky?

Place your bets and I'll update you after the weekend.

(fingers crossed the fast charger is working when I get there, I'm coming back the same night (hopefully))
So the answer was 39% left or more precisely 61% out, 60% back

way there: mainly cruise control at 70
SOC 100% -> 39% , av speed 53mpg, 39.9kWh/100 miles (124.3 miles)
GOM went from 261, to 124.3+88 miles left (so lost 49 miles of range from 'first guess')

Added 33kWh in 43 mins for £11.48 at an Instavolt (50kWh , 35p/kWh) so 46 KWh charge rate - took SOC to 80%

way back: limiter set at 73
SOC 80%-> 20% av speed 57mph, 37.7 kWh/100miles
GOM went from 188 to 123.7+49 miles left (so only lost 16 miles from its initial guess)

not sure what if anything those numbers show, but to me it means I've a minimum safe 175 miles range and I need 60% charge for a 125mile motorway 'blat'

Instavolt was very easy to use too
Indus Silver SE (800 miles in)
Other fast silver things
Generally overly sarcastic (don't take me too seriously)
