Tips for cleaning bottom screen?

Post by Vern61 » Fri May 15, 2020 2:54 pm

Hi .. the bottom screen on the duo seem to be made out of a different material to the other screens . I normally clean them with a microfibre cloth but the bottom screen doesn’t seem to like and doesn’t polish the same and mark stay on .. anyone any tips for getting it clean?

I spray a interior quick detailer on a 350gsm microfiber towel, gently wipe, then dry with the same towel. Works like a charm

I'm more concerned about the instrument cluster screen as its softer and less durable. Mine already has light marring from the dealer before I got the car. I use the same method for that.

Its crucial to only use the same towel for the screens and for nothing else. I have dedicate towels for my screens and different towels for the interior, different towels for the leather

Use this method for the wood interior accents as well because they scratch really easily

I always try to keep my car clutter free and clean inside and outside.
My wife's car on the other hand always looks like a stray person has been living there for a few weeks and then decided it was time to move on :D

I bet she's clean about the house, though. They don't treat cars like they treat their homes! ;)
