If you want to see the status of your IPace, and you don't have your phone, here is a little app in HTML/Javascript that will provide you main info about your car:

https://ipace.herokuapp.com/static/jlr.html

and if you want to graph some info during a charge, here is another page:

https://ipace.herokuapp.com/static/charge.html

Both page works in the car's browser as well !!
All info on thoses HTML pages come from the JLR API.
Does anyone know how secure it is to use your credentials on these webpages??

I would say it is more secure than other solutions because everything is visible, the code in HTML and Javascript run on your laptop, you can see it and decide if it is secure enough for you. Did you ask yourself the same question with an app you download from the web ? The official Jag remote app ? you also have to give your username and password to those app. Do you know what the app is doing with your password ? Here everything works in the web page, totally open, nothing to hide, you can read the code.
The web page runs locally in the browser, and use a secure HTTPS protocol to communicate with internet.

The layout of the page is not that great but if someone with UI/UX skill would like help here...

and if you only want to see all parameters and value from the JLR API, you can use :

Can I also say how much I appreciate the “monitor charging” function. It’s incredibly useful. Thanks!
Thanks guys!!

@Abu Dhabi Dude I'm curious to know whether the current kWh returned by the JLR API and shown in the app matches what the car is returning via canbus / readings from the obd port. It'd be great if you could confirm (or deny) this :) Thanks!

Hi. I suspect you won’t be surprised to learn that they are very different. The canbus always reports a lower figure than the API on my car.

Keep them coming, I use your app more than the official one.

Hi
Some time ago I signed up - and check my Testflight frequently ... :-) So far no luck.
Hope to see something soon @johnnyhush

@johnnyhush the app looks great. Do you plan to release this as an approved App Store app so we don’t need to use Test Flight? Thanks!
