So the grant applies from delivery date and not ordered date I guess?
As I understand it the date is determined by when the dealer has applied for it. So if my dealer has applied I’m ok. However I bet many and perhaps mine will be caught out. Saw on Facebook forum that some dealers being pro-active yesterday.
That’s certainly how it worked last time. I got the full £4,500 even though they had cut it to £3,500 before my delivery date. But my dealer had already processed the order so I got the full grant.
Well good news. My dealer got the form in last night! Well done them. 😊

Dealer informed me my grant went through before the budget announcement, but delivery date has been pushed back to the 1st Week in June. Thats from the early May date I was given initially. Delay being put down to parts delay from China. Hopefully the claims that China has reached its peak in terms of the virus spread and will slowly return to normal are correct, I believe South Korea and Singapore have also reported the same.

Ordered mine 24th Feb and originally given a delivery date of end of April. Advised yesterday that the delivery date has slipped to mid June. Groan.
Fingers crossed that’s a very pessimistic date !!

I have just had an update from the lease company ... last estimated delivery date 18/05/2020, new estimated delivery date 24/04/2020, reason for delay “Fitment Delay - Battery restraint”.
And the new update from the dealer is “build slot confirmed for mid-May, delivery to me late May”. I will be pleasantly surprised if this happens with the current upheaval in the supply chain.
Waiting on HSE

My dealer informed me that my build slot is tomorrow (order placed in January) but unfortunately JLR factories are closed until 20th April at least. I'm not sure whether this applies to the ipace contract manufacturer in Austria.

Currently Magna Steyr in Austria say they are closed until 30 th March due to parts shortage. When they are able to restart will depend on parts delivery and of course Corona virus labour availability. We can only wait and hope.
