I am an exception as well. Where do they get their data from?
There seem to be an awful lot of exceptions. The answer must be that we are all too old to use social media and the Internet so the surveys don't reach us. :?

We oldies get blamed for a lot of stupid things , like voting for Brexit - there was a very simplistic view that young people voted Remain and oldies voted Leave. I think the main concern for oldies with EVs is the prospect of dying while waiting for it to charge! :D

Yeah. That's the reason. I could use Social Media but happen to think that it is nothing short of a pit full of hungry and angry vipers. I chose not you partake in it about a week after MySpace became popular. Nothing that has happened since has made me change my mind one little bit. In fact it is the opposite.

Most of the Tesla drivers I see are well past 55 the odd IPace driver is too. Most of the under 55 drivers spending that kind of money would likely buy Porsche or M5 / AMG if they have families and to hell with the tax advantage.

Bulls Testicles == Bollocks

Some US Sites won't let you post the latter but the former is anatomically correct so... in the main it gets through the censor bots.

I got mine as "birthday present" when I turned 56. No range anxiety, most drives below 150km/day and about 20.000km/year. Younger me was driving lot more and long daily trips so EV wouldn't been my choice.
