Also, those of you who struggle with door handles that won't properly retract or present in the cold, it's supposedly a known issue with a certain number of I-Paces. Contact your dealer and they should be able to replace the handles for you.
I’ve not had the problem yet but I was thinking wouldn’t starting the climate control a good 10-15 minutes before going to the car solve icing issues (door handles, windscreens, etc.) and make the interior a nice and warm place?

Now THAT is cold! -22C!

Extrapolating from Jaguar's range calculator (which only goes down to -10C) gives a 30% decrease in range at that extreme cold vs. +20C.

270km instead of 380km?

Have been enjoying the spirited drive recently though.

How did you get the 380km and 270km numbers from Jaguar's range calculator?

18" & 10 degrees & highway = 301km
18" & 0 degrees & highway = 278km (23km less)
18" & -10 degrees & highway = 255km (23km less)
18" & -20 degrees & highway = 232km (assuming again 23km less)

For my X-mas trip to/from Slovakia I am assuming that will full car, 5 degrees and 70mph average speed I can get 270km range at 100%. I do not even want to think about my range at -22.

PS: The Jaguar range tool assumed with highway an average speed of just 92km/h or 57mph

I just used my own starting point of a range of around 380km in summer temperatures and looked at the combined figures (not the motorway / highway ones).

In actual fact once the temperature dips below about 10C the I-Pace loses about 1% of range for every 1 degree drop in temperature. And that's without the use of the heater / ac.

At -22C with the heater on (as you probably would have) the combined range drop compared to +20C is probably more like 50%.

Perhaps Maxwell_400 could let us know what the consumption is like at those temps?

And in the UK I find that my average motorway speed is pretty much 57mph. I know you can do a lot better on the continent though.

Cold here also :)
I like that centre dash configuration but my HSE FE doesn't have that option. Any ideas which updates are needed to enable it?

Wow, that is cold! We are heading to Tromso in late December so that will be a shock coming from the Australian summer!

Shame I can't fly the I-Pace there and take it for a spin in the snow.
