Ah right, that makes sense, so as it is showing as paused now, then it should in theory start charging at the set time eg 00:01 in my case, then stop when I have programmed it too.ardevd wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:48 pmYou're not doing it wrong but your expectations are probably incorrect. WattCat can't magically detect when you plug in the car. If you have enabled timed charging and plug in the car before timed charging is set to start you might have to wait up until an hour before charging is actually paused. Just plug it in and let it be and see what happens alternatively you can pause the charging manually right away and WattCat will take care of the rest.ChrisMc wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 3:50 pmArdevd
Just been trying the timed timed charging on WattCat. I am on version 1.2.3 - I set the timer to commence at 00:01 hrs and finish at 06:00 hrs, I then plugged the car in and Enabled the timed charging in the app. The car starts charging straight away. So I stopped it and set it all up again, but this time I Enable the timed charging first and then plug the car in, again it starts charging straight away. I tried this a few times using different methods but it starts to charge immediately each time. I started trying this at 15:00 hours, with my timed start time at 00:01 each time.
The last time I pressed pause in the app and it now shows charging as Paused, I have no idea if it will actually start at 00:01 or not. Is there something I am doing wrong here or is there a fault somewhere?
I will see in the morning then how it has worked out.
