What is good voltage for 12v battery ?
Mine is always reporting 12v wich seems low to me.
Just after driving you get around 15V+ . In the morning before your first drive my experience is between 12.3 v and 12.6 v
My dealer told that at 11.7 / 11.8 your car is almost dead

Everyting below 12v is considered as a depleted battery.

The 12V battery voltage is available in the vehicle details page.
Ohhh; so it is. Thank you Ardevd.

Actual voltage vs API voltage?
I tried to reconcile the voltage shown on the WattCat details page with the actual voltage of both 12v batteries using a multimeter when charging with a 7kW outlet. WattCat showed 13.1v but both batteries were at 14.68v.
I also did another test before connecting a charger: WattCat reported 12.5v while one battery read 13.7v and the other smaller 12v battery read 13.6v.
And last night, while the car was not connected to a charger at all, WattCat reported 16.7v, which is very high.
So, I am still not clear what the WattCat voltage shown is actually monitoring, even allowing for the delay between API reporting via a remote server to WattCat.

Thanks for the test results. I'll report the inconsistencies to the API team and see if I can get any clear answers back.

You're very welcome. Let me know if I can help with further measurements under specific conditions. Finally, thanks for all your hard work on WattCat - brilliant app!

I am about to install a bluetooth voltmeter to one of the batteries. Any suggestions on what battery I should connect it to?
When connected I could get a 12v accurate reading anytime.

Cool! If voltage is what you'll get out of it, I guess the 12V battery would make the most sense?

Also, v1.0.0 published. I'll probably regret it when the Google Maps API bill comes in, but how bad can it be :)

Bear in mind you'll be reading the voltage of the charging system, not just the battery.
