I've just upgraded wattcat and now it won't log in. It seems that it uses a ".no" address to login?
Is this a testing URL?
You need to update to v0.9.3 :)

I've uninstalled what I had installed and downloaded the latest version from the Play Store. This is from 12th Nov. It still can't resolve
"incontrol.redbird.no"
It never had an issue before.

Both my MacBook(WiFi) and iPhone (using 4G) can't resolve the URL.

Double check the version you have installed. I checked for an update this morning on G Play (was on 9.1) and no update showed. Went back in half an hour later and WattCat updated to 9.3 and it's all working again now

When you can't login, you can't get to the 'about' screen that shows you the version number and from looking at the Google Play Store, there is no version number listed only the date of the update.
Catch-22 rulez ok!

Then....

Hi Ardevd. I have now charged 3 more times to 100% and my first charge Using WattCar showed 78.7kW

As you predicted as the battery perhaps needed to balance the cells, the reported capacity has crept up and after 3 full charges the max I have seen is 81.05kW with health 99%.

Today i see 80.55kW Health 99%

You wrote in a previous post 79-84kW is an OK capacity, but as the new pack I had fitted in August has only been driven 2500km I had expected to be seeing a higher capacity than is being reported. I have no idea if I actually got a new pack or whether it was a refurbished one. My trust of JLR is wafer thin at the moment, so trying to get enough facts before I start another dance with my dealer.

As an FYI I have monitored the power added from when the App reports 100% and my home charger reports Car has stopped requesting power. Its approx 1kW and the additional charge time is around 25-35 minutes. App is reporting 15-16 mins once 100% is reached which is the same as the Jag app.

I have also compared the displayed kW capacity value between different SOC%'s for example

SOC______KW
79% = 61.75kW
99% = 78.20kW

20% SOC Increase = 16.45kW
My charger reported 17.54kW for the 2.5 hours it took to add 20% SOC.

If I use 16.45kW as = an increase of 20% SOC this would give a nett battery capacity of 82.4kW

I have done the same calculation for different increases in SOC for example 21-63% and I get more or less the same value 82.4kW

Why is a connection to incontrol.redbird.no needed anyway? I thought WattCat only communicated to JLR API's directly? What kind of data is processed on incontrol.redbird.no?

There was a temporary proxy in place in order to abstract some of the more complicated API stuff. It's now removed and all communications goes directly with the InControl API.
