The voltage on the 12v battery is way off. Shows more than 1v too much. I know this is because the api reports wrong, but I wanted to let you know.
I can if you want get an accurate measure of the actual voltage versus what WattCat reports.

Thanks for the screenshot. Definitely a bug that needs to be fixed.

From what I can tell it seems that this differs a lot from vehicle to vehicle. Many owners tell me WattCat is pretty much spot on while others get very different results. I wonder if it's related to different software versions.

Not much I can do about it unfortunately but if you do figure out a consistency in the difference, let me know

As long the people knows that the car instantly starts to charge the 12V battery as soon as the car is unlocked (plugged or unplugged), I guess there could be differences depending on their telematics version.
I have a voltage cut-off permanently connected to the cars fusebox under the rear seats. The cut-off comes with a digital display that lets me read the voltage.
If the weather is nice, I am gonna connect a Bluetooth voltage meter directly on the main 12V battery to get a more accurate reading whenever I want, without having to unlock my car.

The thing that tipped me off that WattCat and MyPace was reporting wrong figures, was that my BlackVue dashcam with cloud connectivity, was turning off while WattCat still was reporting 13V on the battery. The cut-off, which is connected to my BlackVue, is configured to cut the power when the voltage drops below 12,1V.
However, I have yet not read what WattCat is reporting exactly when my dashcam turns off. It’s always been a couple of hours laters when I realize the dashcam is off. It’s never been even close to 12,1V.

Voltage test from the voltmeter connected to my rear seat fusebox : 14,7V
MyPace/WattCat is showing 15,9V
The car is locked and charging. Had been untouched for about an hour.

I'm working on some new WattCat features and I'm wondering what the lowest reported battery energy you've seen for your vehicle at 100% SoC, given that your battery has no known issues that is.

Thanks all!

WattCat v1.3.6 is coming along nicely. One new feature are app shortcuts. They are accessed by long clicking the app icon and provides shortcuts to a few handy operations. On newer Android versions they can even be pinned to your home screen like regular apps. Check the screenshots!
