Hello, I was trying to set the charge limit to 80% SOC yesterday using wattcat, but I ended up with 100% charge this morning? Reason being is, I want to try the preferred time charge in the car (12:30-4:30 am) before switching to Octopus Go. My home charger is the NewMotion Advance charger, so I can't control the preferred time using the NewMotion app. Also the wattcat logging was curtailed after 65%?
Hi there.

I would advise against using both the Max SOC feature and preferred timed charging (in the car). The Max SOC feature is implemented on the WattCat side only and the car will be happy to override it if you have a preferred timed charging setup enabled as well.

Thanks for the info.
I have stopped using the max SOC from wattcatt now bu setting it back to 100% SOC. I managed to get the preferred timed charging to work but forgot to create a log yesterday to confirm when was the actual charging happened. Any idea of logging data length? Say if I put the log starting at 4pm and leave the car charging (set timer) overnight.

Hi Ardevd,

You may have already noticed, but ABRP now also has a Generic Live ID token:

Is it normal that I set a departure time in the car but it does not show up in Wattcat? Nor in the Jaguar Remot app to be honest ...

No, that's not normal and indicates a TCU related issue.

ahahhaha the same TCU that JLR refused to update in December when I left my car for one week at the dealer .....

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I'll see what to do next ... in April my new MY21 should be ready for delibery so I'm not sure I want to go back to the dealer just for this.

Can anyone with a MY2021 I-Pace confirm whether WattCat is showing tyre pressure values slightly higher than the actual values? I suspect the offset bug we've seen in older vehicles have been fixed in newer models.

Also, just putting the word out there that it's now possible to donate in order to support the project. Any contribution is much appreciated! :)

As in the app shows tyre pressure slightly lower than the actual value, or visa versa? And you have a MY2021 vehicle?

Thanks for the input.

Just pointing out a significant typo.
The las sentence should read:
"... it is now possible to donate to support..."
:D
