I had a 283 miles round trip today and managed it in a single charge (just).

Just need to find another 17 miles to crack the 300 miles range.

Well done Chewy, great result, did you use Eco or LPM mode at all towards the end to achieve that?

the end of the journey must have been a bit tense
I passed my factory unit on the way back. I have a charger there that I could have used. This is 8 miles from home. As I passed, the GOM suggested I had 10 miles of range left. The only issue was the fact that the 8 miles is pretty much up hill the entire way, and some very long and steep hills as well (Forest of Dean has been used as a challenge section for the Tour of Britain cycle race).

As I pulled onto the driveway at home, the GOM ticked over to 0 miles. So, no panic then :-)

I use Comfort mode for driving when not enjoying the ride, then Dynamic Mode is used :-) Aircon was set at 20degC.

As I pulled onto the drive, the car GOM ticked down to 0 miles and a message came on the screen saying the car was going into reduced power mode, or some similar wording. The display went a very orange colour, as can be seen in the photo.

You got the same orange colour when manually choosing LPM.

Do you still have the 18" winter wheels on? Or was this with 20"?

29kWh/100km. @ 90kph.

That equates to about 47kWh/100miles @ 56mph

That is not something Audi should be proud of.

However, it is a big heavy car so not really a surprise.

I think they have 81kWh usable capacity, so range is not so good even at that speed.

I conclude that the car is less powerful and has less range than my I-Pace. It is much heavier so not as sporty to drive. It looks like any other Audi, a manufacturer I has never owned a car from.

It will probably sell to buyers who like Audi styling and are not too worried about range. It does have very fast charging though - not something that would be of benefit to me.

If I'm reading the above correctly there is only a 10% difference in the consumption between 90km/h and 130km/h in an eTron - which cannot be right?

Interestingly, the 130km/h figure is virtually identical to my calculated one for 80mph (129km/h) in the i-Pace, which gives a 156 mile (251km) range.

The 90km/h consumption indicated would give the eTron a range of less than 180 miles, compared to about 240 (or 270 for Chewy) for the i-Pace at the same speed. There isn't that much difference between the two.
