Thanks to this forum I managed
— to identify the software updates available for my car ,
— to demonstrate my car was eligible , thanks to your experiences sharing

And finally today I received an e-mail from Jaguar France CRC confirming that my new dealer will install on Monday the requested modules
updates : H159v4, H193, 19A , 15.2
Nice updates ahead for you.

Just took my back from the dealer and they did only install 19a which should now allow for SOTA (see pics). As for H159V4, since I already got a previous version update back in Dec they said that my car didn't need it. But it is well this version that allows better KW charging or?
As for the front struts they will call me when they get the part
I hope to get a minimum of 80KW up to 80% SoC out of H159v4 . I will know more by Wednesday .

The situation can be better since I got 18D 3 weeks ago and 14.2 4 months ago .
I believe what is happening is that a dealer does not want to spend too much time upgrading a tricky EV, therefore when Tophe 74 suspension was
changed there was no more time to do the upgrades.
When I left my car at the dealer I clearly told them to do the SOTA and 100kw update that was in topic's note. They told me that they ll do all the update available on my car. But after they told me that only battery software update was available .... They clearly don't want to takes risks to put update that their system is not proposing for my car.

I don’t want to push the dealers to do their job ( specially in France where the total number of I-Pace sold is about 150 to be compared to dozens of dealers ) .
I think leveraging the data from this forum to convince JLR is more efficient , and in a second step JLR sends instructions to the dealer

Jaguar has put the dealers into a boat without a paddle. On top of that Jaguar has drilled a hole in the bottom of the boat.

The software in the I-Pace is so full of holes that no dealer has a hope in fixing it. Even the tools they are given to fix it with don't work.

Is Jaguar too small a company to do this?

I do dislike this tesla-fanboy e-for-electric, but this time he is right:

Why is Fastned advertising the Jaguar OTA-charge update to 100 kW, while JLR is more or less silent about it? They should be proud to be ahead of the herd..

It is bizarre, it's like Jaguar have no resources to handle this more centralised model, this is lack of any operations management and/or capability.

I might be wrong but I wonder if they are not shouting about this because they’ve been advertising the car as having 100kw charging since launch.
