Silencing the annoying seat belt reminder that comes on a millisecond after setting off: in
common with all other JLR products, sit in drivers seat, ignition 'on' but not 'started', plug seatbelt in and out 10 times within 60 secs until you hear a chime.
To reinstate, repeat the process...

I've never heard a seat-belt reminder chime in my F-Type, have you tried putting the belt on before driving off (so you're in full control while you're driving)?

Simpler way is to put the seatbelt on before driving off. I have found this to work every time. Never a beep out of the car.

There was another one to switch on automatically the forward sensors when driving at slow speeds. I did it, but can't remember how and it's very useful. I'll try to figure it out again, but if anyone knows, maybe they can post it for the others.

Should have been more patient and read the subsequent posts 🤨
And here's a tip, please don't include the entire (very long) post you're replying to just to add one or two lines. Trim it down to give enough context so the page doesn't get cluttered with duplicated information (see what I did above?). It also keeps the bandwidth down for those on limited data/speeds.
Superb advice, I'll keep that in mind.

I know it isn't a tip as such, but it would great to add one as a ready reference to the latest software versions.

I'm trying to get my dealer to let me know if there are any software updates available for my car and it's like pulling teeth! I would be in a much stronger position if I knew for sure if there is anything available. It is rapid charging enhancements I'm primarily looking to get installed.
