I’m driving to the Nordschleife in spring to unleash it there... have driven there many times before but now I have the challenge of arriving there with sufficient battery before entering the track. Should check the charging possibilities at the track.
I think Jaguar has a facility at the track, maybe get a charge from them? ;)

Clearly Jaguar in their infinite wisdom decided the S version of the car does not require this rather nifty graphical display screen?

There are two AC charge points in the Lindner Hotel underground carpark, but DC Is a bit tough to find. There are some ultrafast chargers in the Jaguar Test Centre, but they're in the secure area so aren't accessible to the general public unfortunately. You could try sending them an email to see if they'll do anything as good will, but if it's during an industry week that you go, or they have prototypes in the workshop, I suspect it won't be possible for them to let you in.

Expect to use about 25-33% of your battery per lap round there too. If you only want to do a couple of slow laps, you should be fine for charging options if you're staying there over night.

I ran an AutoX event (baby RR event), and beat up on a lot of sport cars with the Fat Cat.
But it was very wet and drizzling. The best lateral the display showed was 0.86/0.86 g on the 20" all season tires at just over factory pressure, 41/45 psi. I turned the TC/SC off in Dynamic. The car would understeer a bit too easy, and could oversteer nicely when needed.
For track use, I'd rather have better tires and perhaps more rear sway bar, if it even has one. Does it? I haven't put mine up on a rack yet.

Hi Mike, thanks for the info! I only live about 140 km’s from the track, so I usually never stay overnights whiles there. I will follow your good advise to ask the guys from Jaguar to offer me their fastcharging facility. I suppose that they will appreciate their clients showing off the potentials of this electric cat ;)
