Hurrah indeed!
Had the confirmation from my dealer today that GJ68 is cured :D :D :D :D
They have changed the suspected faulty wiring harness , an/the auxiliary battery and some part of the charger/transformer , and been very vigilant in testing .
It is getting valeted tomorrow and I am booked in to collect my whitebeast at 10am on Saturday ,
I hope that Canterbury To Millbrook , and back , is more successful than the Bordeaux trip

Hi Malcolm. I remember your first post explaining your planned trip, to be completed immediately after you had taken delivery and I admired your bravery at the time. I am sorry it turned out problematic, although it sounds you were unlucky with the fault that occurred. I guess it’s inevitable that such new technology is going to have teething problems, but I am delighted to hear JLR assistance did as you always hope it will, and that you will soon have your car back. I hope you have better luck going forward.
It sounds like, other than the unfortunate breakdown, you are enjoying the car. Long may it continue.

FFS It’s a good job I’m not superstitious!
Had a lovely drive today, what great fun !
Showing the car off to a friend and I noticed the windscreen.
I remember on my drive back from the dealer yesterday, a gentle drive and something hit the screen, couldn’t see anything, but omfg there is the result!
Maybe the first I-Pace windscreen replacement!
