Possible new Yorkshire owner.

Post by chicken george » Wed Jun 09, 2021 8:14 pm

Ow much!

Looking at an Ipace se to replace disco sport.

Found one ,brand new, discussed prices and finance, just got to sleep on it.

Hoping for cheap motoring as i have 110kw of solar panels and the farm doesnt always use everything the panels produce.

If you can normally charge from those panels the running costs will be almost zero!!

Yes if we dont drive anywere in Dark December.

I have other things consuming the energy, 3 greedy heat pumps for one.

If all else fails there is a 200kw diesel fueled generator to plug into.

I decided not to park the IPace at the Farm for 2 reasons, the inconvenience of plugging in and collecting after, and some idiot driving a tractor into it, so plugging it in at the house has a lot of advantages.

Ive got 3 phase 30 M from the house/garage, with a plastic cable duct laid across the lawn in readiness last year while upgrading the drains. simples

its just what size cable to install, I envision a few electric cars to charge when kids are older

Take care on farm tracks, youve only got 3mm aluminum between the rocks and the battery
