Almost there

Post by Captain.Plummet » Thu Mar 14, 2019 5:41 pm

Having ordered in October of last year I had a delivery date of 8th March. That came and went but now it’s officially tomorrow. Unfortunately there is a problem with deliveries and the dealer cannot confirm when it will be ready. I’ve already paid for the I-Pace, but I have to say that the dealer (Sturgess in Leicester) has been great and are lending me a car whilst I wait. I’m hearing rumours of battery assembly issues, but I’m really confident that JLR will step up to the plate with ongoing improvements. They have to satisfy the early adopters in order to develop their electric products and ther will be snags, so I’m staying with the program.

Welcome to the forum.
I too ordered October and delivery to the dealer is imminent - (but reading some of the issues on here is making me a little uneasy)
On order - March delivery hopefully. I Pace SE - Corris Grey, black pack, privacy glass, black wheels, pano roof, 0-60 4.5secs - No spare wheel due to the ridiculous storage solution.

Your spec is the same as mine but I’ve the better spec audio, headlining, adaptive headlights and air suspension. There seem to be some manufacturing issues but having driven a Model X and the I-Pace in succession I know that the Jaguar is the better car. Think of it as delayed gratification!

It’s here, and as it has to have a nickname it’s called Nikola.

Well, it arrived last week but i didn’t get to collect it. I’m driving an XF Sportbrake courtesy of the dealer. Hoping for the resolution to a bonnet sensor issue early this week.

At last the I-Pace is on the drive, but the replacement bonnet lock sensor hasn’t worked. I still need to slam the bonnet hard.
Everything else is great.
