Here's the update on the repaired drivers seat Windsor leather. The seat base has begun to wrinkle again after a couple of weeks and about 100 miles! and does not seem as comfortable as the passenger side. I know the service department at the Jaguar dealer took photo's of the disassembled seat so I'll get in contact and see what they say. I'm thankful that I don't have any of the issues seen on the forum but the seat really doesn't come up to the standards of a luxury car at this price level.

If you want a comparison this is the Windsor leather in my Evoque 6.5 year's on and 20000miles (and I am no lightweight!)

Hopefully my I pace will be here in the next few weeks . Hoping I won't have any bother with the seats..

Thanks for the comparison...... certainly looks good after 6.5 years. Have you applied any protection/ cleaner over the years?

@Baz99 Usually used a leather cleaner once a year or so but nothing too special to be fair.

Update on the baggy seat

Had the repaired seat inspection 14th March and the dealer showed me two more I-Pace seats with the same problem, (much worse than mine), I understand from what he said that the problem is likely caused by the design of the temperature heating/cooling seat option. I am currently waiting for a solution from Jaguar

Great to know I will pass that onto my dealer too! Strange how Jaguar didn’t pick this up during their 1 million plus around the world tests they did 😂😂

I have a feeling this is down the perforations that allow the heat and cooling through the seat. Call it a feature lol :D

Hi Npbrum
No the seat wasn't replaced.... just the seat base leather covering. The passenger seat, (also with the cool/warm" option is still as new. I'm fairly sure the problem is with the filler cushioning/lack of cushioning as the seat cover was loose even when it was replaced. I'm glad that I haven't suffered some of the problems described on this forum but I must admit this has been a bit of a disappointment in a car costing £80,000.00........ still waiting to hear from JLR regarding this "feature"

Have you had this fixed yet ? I've got the same issue and the dealer said book it in for fix or replacement - just wonder how effective the fix is ?
