Some fairly good news today. I called the dealer and he said they’ve identified a broken connection on the wiring harness.

I’m glad they’ve found a fault which seems to be similar to a few others in this thread.

Hopefully now they can order and install the Repalcement.

Fair play to Jaguar Assistance. They’ve delivered me a courtesy Ipace. It’s much better spec than mine!

My car had gearbox fault detected on Thursday - AA / Jag tech guy came out and diagnosed parking pawl failure. So I have a full fat Range Rover while it is in being fixed. No idea how long for. Mine would go into gear (after a quick turn it off and on again) but I didn’t risk driving it anywhere
it’s here! Arrived 29.04.19, HSE, MY20, Caesium Blue, tan interior, black bits

It will be interesting to see how long it takes to return your car and also which parts they replaced.

Along with many others I have had the same problem, plus have been told 2-3 months for 'made to order' wiring loom. After a bit of digging this fault is subject to a service bulletin. You would think as a known issue they would keep spares and the 'engineers' would be up to speed with the fix. For those that are interested here is a link to the bulletin that describes the fix and parts involved https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/ ... 0-0001.pdf

Hi
I also had the same message. Car was off the road for over 2 months. Getting the part took at least 6 weeks. I have been very disappointed with the car/Jaguar. Have been able to end my lease and will move on to another brand.

Its a shame that you've had to move but totally unacceptable, its a known issue and they really need to take better measures to either prevent it or at least cut down the repair time

Good news. After 2 months off the road, followed by another week to repair issues that the “fixed” car came back with, I finally have a fully functional i-Pace that looks and performs as good as new.

JLR Bolton were really helpful and JLR HQ sent me a nifty Molskine electronic writing set for my troubles.
