When the lights come on you’ll get a green headlamp symbol on the dash cluster (lower right). Next to it will be a green “A”. But there is no indication when the lights are off.

You’ll also get a blue full beam symbol when it switches on the full beam element, but there is nothing to differentiate that symbol from the one you get if you switch on the manual full beam.
cheers. I don't get that lower right green headlamp symbol with a green "A". all I have is in the lower left the dipped headlight and side light symbols.

must be faulty then. I hope they can fix it when it goes in.

I’d have to agree that it sounds like a fault. If it’s switched on in settings and you’re driving after dark, you should get that green A.

definitely! the dimmed beam and sidelights come on automatically as it gets dark. also, if I twist the stalk to dipped beam at night I get a message on the display saying ADB won't work until I switch to auto on the stalk, which I then do so but ADB still doesn't start up.

Yep. That’s what I have as well. Must just be faulty then!

Thanks for the assistance all.

You do know it doesn't work in town driving? If the system see other lights (Street or cars) similar to how the high beam worked on my last LR, go for a run on a country road, see if it's working there.

yep. definitely aware of that. I was testing it on a dark country road to make sure it wasn't some other factor that was causing it to not work.
