An update is available.

Post by Baikar » Thu Mar 14, 2019 12:50 pm

I was just checking the SOC using the Incontrol app and a drop down box appeared telling me there was an update available?!

Not seen this before but thought it was talking about the app so deferred the update till later. Now I can’t find it. Has anyone else had the same?

Yes that’s the same version that I have. I don’t think that the message was talking about the app. If it was I would be able to find it on the App Store. I think it’s an update for the car.

It was just the app update, the version notes simply talked about in app purchases which I thought was odd as the Jaguar remote app doesn’t have this option so not sure what it was referring to. The functionality is identical to the previous version as far as I can tell. Let’s hope it’s more stable.

What version do you have because I still can’t find any updates on mine.

I did the update, and I now have 1.73 (118) showing at the bottom of 'Page' 5, so I guess that is the version date referred to by emgf, also. I never noticed the number before, so do not know what it changed from, if indeed it did change.

The 1.73 version is a couple of weeks old, so I'm puzzled why the notice is coming up just now. I never received a notice for the 1.73 until today, but I was already on 1.73, most likely since I had to reinstall it to troubleshoot Timed Charging.

I have received an email informing me that an OTA firmware update will be available soon. The email gave instructions on how to down load the vehicle software update. Anyone else received this. I am out of the country at the moment so unable to see what the vehicle is saying.
