MY21 ECUs and PIDs

As I got a brand new MY21 last tuesday, I began to replicate the work dernotte initiated on his MY20 (or MY19 ....).
First step it has been to identify ECUs and thier addresses on the Canbus. As expected many ECUs are the same as in MY19/MY20 but not all. Parking assit ECU disappeared in MY21 (what a surprise ) but there also some other differences, the main one is that I have yet to identify the TCU. This i the list I have at the moment:

Does anybody has access to MY21 technical info to detect which are the ECU without name ?

Can you check pids fdca and fdcb on ECU 726 ?, one should be the main battery and one should be aux. One of them should show zero.

Checked today, sorry for the late reply. They both report 14.4V with slight differences on the second decimal digit.

I tried for over a week to get data from HVAC, EPIC and TCU without success. Then I saw on Topix a reference to Pathfinder (JLR diagnostic sw) not being able to get in touch with HVAC module on MY21 I-Pace. I don't have full access to Topix so I'm sure it it's a general problem or something more specific but in any case it's suggesting to me that something strange is going on with some ECUs on the Canbus.

I can't imagine JLR has decided to hide those 3 ECUs leaving the main important ones (BECM and BCCM) easily readable from Obd port. Also, what would be the meaning of hiding front HVAC module but leaving accessible the rear one?

If anybody has some "inside" info and willing to share it will be very useful,. Thanks

I can't help here, but that sounds weird. Even Jaguar is not able to read properly those ECU. Sounds like a gateway issue, that can be fix with an Gateway update.
The data must be there on the bus, but the gateway is not proxying them to OBD2 connector. That is my only explanation.

Is there anybody with Topix access that can give me some info on the following:

"SSM75321 - PATHFINDER does not shows the EPIC module within the ECU Diagnosis list"

I'm still struggling to reach Epic, HVAC and TCU on the Canbus ....

The answer from another forum was

"If I can remember correctly I think all they did was rename it SGCM and then created a manual patch for it. It's something I just skipped over so this information may not be 100% correct."

Interesting .... I do have a SGCM Ecu "Starter Generator Control Module" so according to this answer the "missing" EPIC Ecu mistery has been solved.
Unfortunately it's of no help in undertading why TCU and HVAC are not accessible. Unless one of the following MY21 only ECU are just a renamed version of TCU and HVAC:

- 407 WDCMB
- 464 ?
- 4b3 IGM
- 7e3 ?

For each of them I have some Jaguar parts number but unfortunatley none of them match the only known info I have which is the TCU Sw version I can read in Wattcat. On the other hand, even in Wattcat the TCU configuration version is missing . Also, from another forum, I was told the TCU address is indeed 754 but I could not get any answer from that address+8 or any wide address listening.
Any idea ? I really need some help ... please

Did you try to read the pid "0A" with service "09" , not the typical "22" for extended PID (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs) . So send "090A" and not "220a". This is the official place for ECU name, but not all ECU implement this PID.
VIN is also available with service "09" on pid "02"
