I just had the two year service done two weeks ago in Derby. They quoted £213 including vat for a pollen filter and brake fluid change.

Was even better as the car has a service schedule so it didn't cost me a thing.

That's interesting, thank you.
In this case they did match their price on the Jaguar web site.
And it would seem that the brake fluid change is included in that website price.

A quick update -
I booked with Beadles Watford using the Jaguar online booking site
I had a call from a very helpful service advisor who confirmed the price was correct and inclusive of pollen filter and brake fluid change.
So all is good.

Just had my SE serviced here in Stratstone Cardiff £245 inc brake fluid change and pollen filter renewal.
The would have liked to have charged a bit more for screen wash fluid but I pointed out I had just topped it up at home!
Included in the price you do get a video of the underside of the car to ogle at!
I did ring around, Guy Salmon in Bristol wanted £280!

Forgot to say I asked for an I-Pace as a loaner but they didn’t have one spare, so I asked for a petrol hybrid, but none of those either! OK socan I have a plain petrol one, sorry no petrol cars at all!
They they went ‘Off mark’ and hired in a petrol Peugeot 3008. What a horrible car! Touch, and I mean touch, the brake pedal and it stands on its nose!
I was offered a test drive down the road in a MG ZS EV, what a nice little car!! I nearly left the 3008 and went home in the MG ZS EV! Well built, no frills and stupidly cheap for an EV, £22,000 for the top spec on the road! Though not giving it away, value for money in every sense, given the Skoda like build quality. Nice plastic everywhere , no rattles and rather nice to drive.
Down side only 150 miles on the motorway range, 200 miles around town though!
Perfect as the second car for going to the station and doing the shopping.
If you have the chance have a test drive you will be pleasantly surprised!
No connection to MG just a pleasantly surprised by stander!

They probably spend a whole day looking for the sparking plugs and another for the engine oil filter and drain plug!
When they don't find any they charge you for looking!

Beadles of Watford are also part of Group1 Automotive and that's the price on their website -
luckily it's much better value to book via the Jaguar service booking site!
It's also similar to the price that I was first quoted over the phone at another dealer until I pointed out it was just wrong.
I wonder how many people just go ahead and pay it?

“ To be honest, with the increased prevalence of EVs, I'm convinced that a significant number of dealership will have to downgrade/disappear because they simply can't generate as much income as they once could. “

The dealers won’t get profit out of servicing but if faults continue at present rate they're going to make lots out of repairs because your local indie isn’t going to know where to start

Just had my first service carried out at Barretts in Canterbury Kent
£207 plus VAT, so £248.44 total, which I thought was good. Included a new particle filter, brake fluid and screen wash .
They were kind enough to update my sat nav maps for me too.
Sadly the update that they performed some how corrupted a module that meant the car no longer recognised my keys, I was given a brand new Evoque loan car and my car was investigated and cured very quickly. My service advisor, Bronte was great and even phoned every time she said she would!
They get a thumbs up from me
