Re: My Little Theory re choice of route.

The significant difference in the amount of Regen is really telling. 7.9kW in 28 miles compared to 06kW in 50 miles. That's getting on for 10% of the Battery capacity. Well done Sir! I think you should rename this thread to "taking the pretty route". That's impressive regen in any event. The first ...

Which tyre pressure sensors

Just wondering which sensors those of you who have bought winter wheels have used - Jaguar OE or aftermarket?
Also did you have to have them calibrated at the dealer?

Re: Difference with 18” Wheels?

I think the main difference would be the tyre width. To maintain the same rolling radius the 18" tyre is 235, whereas the 20" is 245 and 22" are 255. I imagine this will have an impact on both aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance. The higher sidewall should mean a softer ride, but will suffer mor...

Re: Owner Thoughts/Experience?

It absolutely depends on your own lifestyle how viable it is. Based on what you have posted; it is obviously no issue for your regular daily use, so the key thing is how far you need to travel on your client visit days, and to a certain extent whereabouts in the country they are. If a client day is ...

When do you get full regen?

I had always thought that the regen restriction line disappeared based on SOC, but I am now having second thoughts. This morning the line stayed until 88% SOC, and I am sure it has gone at around 93% in the past. I am now starting to think it might be (battery) temperature based. When does yours go ...

Re: Navigation icontrol sign on

I'm sure I read a while ago that some people were experiencing problems using certain phone + data sims, but when they changed to data-only sim, the problem went away. I can't confirm this because I have only ever used a data-only.

Re: Creaking Noise with low speed gentle braking

I've had this from day 1, using the friction brakes to come to a slow stop. In 10,000 miles it has not got any better, or any worse.

Re: New Order or Demonstrator

A First Edition will probably be worth more in the future than an HSE with options because FE is a model in its own right and would be valued as such, whereas options on a lower model would rarely affect the trade in value by a similar amount.
Plus you get to drive it now, which is priceless.
