Re: IONITY France update : Paris Lyon and Paris Geneva opened !

That is good news. Thank you for posting. My ABRP route from Edinburgh down to Tourrettes Sur Loup (Alpes Maritimes) is beginning to come together. Previously I was being routed down through Belgium, Germany and Italy! Now it is beginning to look more realistic. I would really love to give it a try ...

Re: ATTN: Anyone with an Andersen Charger...

So I guess that you're "no" on Andersen's crowdfunding?

Does anyone have the "beta" wifi only version of the A2? Does it connect and is the connection stable? I have given up and just treat the contraption as nice but dumb.

Re: Its all Abu Dhabi Dude's fault ..

Corris with the carbon insert wheels is stunning. I have never considered myself a “wheel” man but I cannot stop looking at my car which is the same colour and wheels - a SE not a FE. It was 2C when I left for work this morning and I have decided that this is not yet cold enough to put my winters (w...

Re: Ionity Network

It is definitely a challenge. I did the MK to Gretna run a few weeks ago. I stopped at the Instavolt at Sandbach and so I was not trying to maximise efficiency. I measured 266 miles between the two Ionity stations and used 93.6KwH - so I would have been hitchhiking a long way before Gretna! I did me...

Re: Ionity Network

The current Ionities are the worst possible places for me. MK is too far to reach and Gretna is too close to home to take advantage of the charging speed. So southbound journeys mean Ecotricity for me and Northbound journeys mean ChargePlace Scotland. I wish that wasn’t the case! We need a forum aw...

Re: Wheel size v's range and ride

I have both 20” and 22” wheels for my car. The ride on air suspension on potholed city streets is very good and I truly could not tell the difference between the two wheel sizes. The 22”s do impact range. I don’t know exactly by how much; possibly up to 10%. The car was designed for 22” wheels. I co...

Re: Europe Road Trip - Lots of Help Needed Please

Hi If you want to put winter tyres on your standard 20" wheels there are at least two quality winter tyres generally available in the UK: - Pirelli Scorpion Winters which you can get in 245/50 R20; and - Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 which you can get in 245/45 R20. You are looking at around £1,000 fo...

Re: Winter Wheels UK

Not sure about run flats. My bones and teeth are only just recovering from 12 years on RFs. You sound sure to me! ;) I was being unfair. With variable dampers on The Princess and The Pea settings BMW and MINI runflats are tolerable. I had an ‘07 535d on concrete belted runflats and that one still m...
