Re: Charging indicator

Hi folks, I finally had my Andersen A2 home charger installed today, and plugged the car in to charge. The light came on green at first, but now seems to have gone off. The app says the car is charging and taking on range, but the light next to the cahrge port stays off. Is this correct behaviour, ...

Re: Looks like it’s not just I-Pace that has charging issues

But don't Tesla have the biggest and best SuperCharger network in the world? Why would they need to use chargers from a third party? I think you forgot the /s... However there are huge gaps in the Supercharger network. If you lived in Cromer would you go to Ipswich just to use the Supercharger? Wha...

Umm... Compared to ICE car manufacturers they sell a tiny number of cars. Even then they don't have enough service capacity to look after them.
Well, according to some other EV focussed forums we have been invaded by Model 3's...

Re: EVs are becoming afordable

The main EV forums were really quick to slag this off.
- no range
- Compliance car
- Chinese quality

It seems to be pretty good value at that price. Only time will tell on that one.

Re: UK Servicing - actual cost?

Tesla interestingly were very expensive but now have scrapped servicing altogether. Tesla does not have enough service centre to handle the limited number of cars they do actually sell. Hence they tell their owners they don't need servicing? What about cooling systems, braking systems, steering, su...

Re: Mercedes EQC can charge everywhere in Europe without any charging card , by Fully Charged

It will be interesting to see what the markups for this service is. Especially when Roaming and a currency conversion is in the mix. Merc have to be taking a cut somewhere but unless it is at ApplePay levels(0.15%), it might be a huge turn off. Convenience but at what cost eh? When BP are charging q...

Re: Mercedes EQC review

Robert was very clear about the choices you have with the EQC/E-Tron/I-Pace vs Tesla. He was very impressed with the build quality of the EQC and did compare it to the TEsla. Perhaps he is getting fed up with the minimalism of the Tesla? Nah. I'm dreaming. There is not more choice which is good (con...

Re: Cracked it, my timesaving guide to Ecotricity charging

Seems a bit odd that a tethered cable would be too short to reach the charge point of any vehicle, providing the driver has driven it into the space in the correct direction...? I've never seen a vehicle with the charging socket in the middle, so one would presume that he was trying to use an overl...
