Re: Pre-Conditioning

OK, so an update on this - The car was 100% charged, I plugged it into the charger at midnight with a departure time set (in the car) for 11:35 on Saturday morning. I checked the car at about 10:30 in the morning, and as expected it was still at 100%. At about 11:05 it started preconditioning and w...

Re: Pre-Conditioning

I have always set departure times from within the car ie not using the App and have had no problems. You can set a departure time using the App but you still need to go into the car and enable it, so why not just set it entirely from within the car? You don’t (or shouldn’t) need to go into the car ...

Re: Winter heating: your experience

I’m not sure of the significance of the a/c on/off switch. I thought the IPace used a heat pump for everything, battery thermal management and cabin heating/cooling. If this is correct, I don’t understand what “a/c off” does. In practical terms, I would suggest leaving the settings on “auto” rather ...

Re: Car just updated

Hi all, when I went out 2 hours ago my car was on S19B_19.40.4-436082, while I was driving a message said new In-control Pro Software available, do you want to update - I hi yes, just arrived back home it now says 19C_19.46.4-458817. I don`t know what has changed, but my trip back 2.3 miles said 17...

Re: One year in

What a great endorsement! Can you please tell my wife? She still hates/scorns it.... I don't envy your 30K miles per year, but it sounds like you are enjoying it in the I-Pace. I have long thought that the car is best suited to what sounds like your usage: - company car (with the various BIK/tax ben...

Re: Ionity Network

The UK is in a miserable place for Ionity chargers. Five new chargers being built in the UK: https://ionity.evapi.de What a difference a couple of weeks makes! UK may still be a miserable place for Ionity chargers, but they are gradually putting us out of our misery! Beaconsfield, Baldock, Peterbor...

Don't like the 80's Sinclair ZX Spectrum green loading graphic as the new charge indicator either.
It does look rather retro!
Showing your age, anorak!

But why oh why didn't they take the opportunity to display a numerical %SoC too?

Re: Telematics 18.2

How do you know? Mine hasn’t displayed the Telematics version since the first SOTA update. If you press the button to look for new updates a couple of times on both modules, your car should show your installed version. I tried that today (> 5 times each) and it didn't work - no updates available, n...

Re: Jaguar 's PATHETIC Colour Selection

I agree. I was very frustrated with the available colours when I bought. I really wanted Loire Blue, a lovely dark blue available on other JLR cars built in UK. HRH Prince Charles got himself a Loire Blue I-Pace, when he got one to demonstrate his environmental credentials. The fact that his body sh...
