Re: Car completely dead...

Sorry to hear that GreyIpace. My dealer has had the car for 4 days now and hasn’t made much progress. They think it is a control module and/or 12v battery issue, but no conclusions yet. In case this is the start of a growing trend...would you mind PM’ing me what dealer you are at? May be worth askin...

Re: Gearbox Fault - Waiting for Recovery

Glad to hear they have a resolution and it’s something straight forward to fix. Hopefully this will be the end of your teething problems!

I use one dial with driver assist on the left and trip summary on the right, and media on the lower touch screen. I then have CarPlay nav on the main touch screen.
I use this setup too

Re: About to confirm my final build spec

+1 for HUD, it’s brilliant. It shows track information if you are playing music through CarPlay, but I don’t think it integrates in any other way.

I also did Air + adaptive and I’ve been very impressed with how well it handles. Doesn’t feel like 2.2 tonnes...

Re: Car completely dead...

Doug, The high voltage battery was at 67%. I only got the car 4 days before, so it was my first attempt at public charging. The car didn’t receive any charge as the charger couldn’t establish communications with the car. At the time I just left it’s went for my walk (as I didn’t really need the char...

Re: Car completely dead...

Thanks Steve - we got that released, but not the handbrake. At least that allowed it to be pulled onto the flatbed with skids on the rear wheels, avoiding any dragging or bouncing.

Re: Caesium Blue HSE

None of the screens are coming on. The starter button is pulsing red, when I press it the brake pedal vibrates, but nothing else happens. The climate control screen flashed for a few seconds, but then nothing. 12v batteries (recovery guy said there were 2 of them, which was news to me) measured 12.4...

Re: Caesium Blue HSE

I was really enjoying it...then it died. Was a good 4 days. Not sure what’s wrong, but hopefully it’s an easy fix!

Car completely dead...

Got back to my lovely new car today after a walk and it is completely dead. Start button gently pulses in colour and the brake pedal vibrates, but it doesn’t start. None of the screens are coming on and I had to use the emergency pull cord to release the charge cable. Jaguar have dispatched a local ...

Caesium Blue HSE

Finally got my HSE this week. For all of you eagerly awaiting delivery - it’s absolutely worth the wait! One pedal driving is fantastic fun, with that wave of torque always available, the car feels very nimble. The main infotainment screen is definitely laggy, but not has bad as I feared and certain...
