I used to think old Jags were big! But that one has obviously shrunk as it aged. ;)
Yes, just shows how much bigger modern cars are, yet car parking places seem to be getting smaller :D

Re: Direct Line Insurance?

I went with LV, they came out best when I was shopping around a few months ago.

Black screens are definitely a Telematics issue for sure. My dealer refused to believe it at first but simple diagnostics turned out to confirm it. After the TCU update the black screen issue is gone for me. I had 14.2 which I believe is the affected version.
Same with mine, I was on 14.2

Re: Gone Wading

Fair play. I’d like to give it a go then. Wonder walnut happens over 50cm?! Many JLR vehicles I Pace included can wade much deeper, but it is the stability that starts to suffer eventually and some cars start to float. I had a RR and a Discovery in nearly 90cm of water once on an off road course, i...

Re: Screens frozen

I might try (pressing the button) and see if they will come out to me. I pressed my button and it didn't work, so I called them and they came out. BTW, the first chap I spoke too said it would have to be sorted by the dealer, no matter what I told him he wouldn't give in, so I put the phone down an...

The go tarrif is a bit of a bargain. I will find out if the Ohme can work with go.
The Go tariff gives you 4 hours overnight at £0.05p/Kwh,....... 00:30hrs to 04:30 hours, currently I just set up timed charging in the car and charger to take advantage of it.

Re: Screens frozen

Pandpt I had exactly the same software versions as you. Randomly after two months of problem-free driving the screens went blank. I called Jaguar and they arranged for a Jaguar Assist mobile van to come to my house. The engineer didn’t touch the InControl part. Purely a telematics patch. Took two h...
