Re: Ionity Network

Good news for folks in the UK travelling the M4 between London and Swansea.
Ionity started construction of a new station near Chippenham between Swindon and Bristol. The station will be easily accessible from both directions.

Re: Range problems

I took a look at their charge rate and it was 86kWh with the battery at 40%. Much the same as me. I finished and left so I didn't get a chance to talk to the driver. Which Tesla did you see, charge speed depends which type. The model 3 standard/range + charges slower than the long range/performance...

Re: Range problems

“The sales reps oversell the charging rate and quote 150 mile charge in twenty minutes. This does not exist. For 150 miles the car needs to charge for 1.5 hours at least, adding 2 miles per minute. For a 197 mile journey, travel time 3.4 hours, it adds over 3 hours and 150 miles looking for high ra...

Re: Range problems

Hello, My woes continue with this car. It never displays or charges to the advertised range of 300 miles. It never ever travels to the displayed range of 217 to 237 miles ever, it only travels 170 miles. The numeracy of charge stations displayed in the car are fictitious, to aid sales. They simply ...

Re: Ionity Network

Now that my data source is working again see below the updated stats of Ionity network and its roll-out progress in 2020 vs 2019.
Despite finally picking up the pace Ionity in 2020 is YTD still 35 new constructions and 25 go lives behind 2019 roll-out progress.

Re: Thinking about buying an I-Pace - Questions

1. I'll probably go with a white S model, with the following options - Fixed panoramic roof, Privacy glass, 8-way heated semi-powered front seats, upgraded door mirrors, Boot rubber mat - is there any other options that forum users would highly recommend, or which you regretted not getting on yours...

Re: 100kW charging: It’s a joke

THe I-Pace will only charge with the full 100kw when your SoC at the start of charging is below 15% or so... I have to figure out what is the exact number. If you start at a higher SoC, you will get reduced charging speed. Quite annpying to be honest. This is also a feature, you will find on Polest...

Re: Ionity Network

It seems Ionity is picking up the pace with their station roll out - 6 new constructions today (18 so far this Month and 12 in August). So far there are 280 station open and a further 57 under construction - still 63 over their target of 400 by end of 2020. Ionity started construction in 2 new count...

Drawing with the I-pace :-)

Took my blue beauty for a drive and when looking at trip stats I saw that the route I drove drew either a Kite or a Ghost with a tail om the map.

Re: Tesla S Raven 1000km under 10hrs

Sadly Bjorn never did a 1000km challange in the I-pace, I expect the gap to be more than 2hrs in equal conditions. As mentioned the 11hr15min estimate is based on extrapolating my fastest long trip over 821km which was in optimal summer conditions (dry 25 degrees) and driving on the Autobahn so not...
