Re: Major Road Trip Coming Up

- 22nd July - Val Thorens to Oz en Oisans staion (near Alpe d'Huez in the French Alps) to join the family and spend a week there. 167km. Should be able to do it without charging even with the climbs. You should be fine - I drove from Brittnau CH to Melide CH over the Gotthard pass 2,106m. Going up ...

Re: Ionity Network

Good news for those travelling between UK and Europe mainland via Calais or Bruges. Ionity opened their stations on both sides of E40 (Belgium coast <=> Brussel) near Ghent.

Re: Mi/kWh

Struck me as being a bit silly to put them there - far better at the bottom as the last place you want to charge is the top of a hill! Quite sensible considering how much energy it'll take to get you up there! True however what’s the point charging up the mountain meaning you can’t recover as much ...

Did you start this trip at the top of Kilimanjaro???
:-) close - Gotthard pass at 2,106m - the first 59km the consumption was 0, it does not show negative.

Started with 56% SoC which went up to 61% while driving down, oddly as SoC went up the indicated range went down with a few km.

Re: 300 Miles Range

But also very happy (actually surprised) with consumption going up to 2,106m. The avg speed would be higher if you exclude traffic jams (standing still for 20 minutes) or the queue going up. 86D74A64-6F8B-437A-9CB9-5BCE64175E77.jpeg So overall did 224km with 54% battery going over a 2,106m mountain ...

Re: 300 Miles Range

7.30kw regenerated. Lot of downhills that explain your very low consumption p Something like that - Gotthard pass (2,106m) down towards Italy. First 59km my consumption was 0 - oddly it does not show negative consumtion. Started at 56% SoC, went up to 61% before reducing to 46%. FYI very strangely ...

Re: 300 Miles Range

Not really a fair comparison but earlier today I did over 100km with just 10% SoC - that would be 1,000km or 625 miles of range.
Efficiency at 55mph of 13.11kW/100miles

Re: Mi/kWh

My new record efficiency - 8.20kW/100km or 13.11kW/100miles.
Started at 56% SoC and arrived 100km later with 46% SoC which would mean 1,000km range :-)

Re: 2,781km in 24hrs

Thanks Chewy - actually re-looking at my own long distance trips I am actually less impressed with this WR than I initially was. If you consider multiple drivers, driving loops on stretch of high speed Autobahn, continuous using same high power charger, driving the model 3 which is more efficient an...

Re: H228 Campaign VIN Range: F60001 - F79241

My car just spent a day at the dealers having H228. I asked them what I would notice different when it was completed. I was astounded when they said they didn’t know. Well perhaps not that surprised really. The update bulletin is very vague as has been noted before but I thought the “technician “ w...
