Re: Government consultation, have you completed it yet?
Ironic that the idiot Shapps drives a Tesla 3 but then car and driver seem to be perfectly matched. By that I take it to mean, excellent software but shoddy build quality? If we matched cars to minsters, who would have matched with a Lada or a Trabant? Come to think of it, this could be a fun game!...

Re: Will there still be Software updates
Where do we put our comments re: 'Other'? If it is here then I would like like JLR to continue to work on outstanding issues namely the Password Amnesia issue which has plagued us from day one! I agree that JLR have got to understand that the EV is now a transport and connectivity tool. You only hav...

Re: Charge port door wouldn't close but fixed
2. Does it make any difference? Nobody can steal your electricity from the battery. Sorry to alarm you but 'Car to Grid' is coming! It is possible to take energy out the car. It was a fundamental principal for the CHAdeMO connector! With the CCS connector it is possible but not so easy but totally ...

Re: Tesla destination chargers
Does anyone know the answer to this in the UK? I hope to be staying in a hotel shortly with a tethered Tesla destination charger, and not sure whether or not it will work with the I-pace. I would get the hotel to take a photo of it and send it to you, then decide for yourself if it is red or grey! ...

Re: Government consultation, have you completed it yet?
This is written by someone who doesn't understand the market and is aimed at supporting a narrow course.of action that will have little value and drive up costs for us all. So typical Government interaction all told. Interesting you see that in the survey! It was obviously written by a civil servan...

Government consultation, have you completed it yet?
There is a government consultation regarding the future standards in EV charging and charge points. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/the-consumer-experience-at-public-electric-vehicle-chargepoints/the-consumer-experience-at-public-chargepoints The more people that respond, the more likely...

Re: Ohme Commando socket cable
symos, what an interesting video, thanks for the heads-up on it. To be elegable for the 'plug in grant' in the UK the box has to be 'smart'. The fundamental difference between the Zencar unit and the one supplied by Ohme is the Ohme version is Smart, and and has wifi connectivity in it. I think that...

Re: Rear load space lights not coming on, where is the switch?
I hadn't thought it could be the lock mechanism, thanks for that. The tailgate mechanism works as it should, button on the outside, OK, and the closing switch on the inside OK as well, just no illumination around the edge. As for fuses, no none!!! Have a look at the handbook and the four fuse boxes,...

Re: My week old I-Pace is back with the dealer
ChrisSB Mine is a 2019 ex Jaguar management car. No one noticed that there wasn't a SERVICE heading in the Driver Assistance as it had various 'owners'. When I got it in January last year the first thing the showed up on the InControl Remote app was that a service was required even though it's anniv...
