Re: Does Park Assist even work?

I've managed to get it to park in the same car park twice while I was wasting time. I had to drive in a loop around the carpark around 10 times for this result. My old Merc used to be quicker than doing it myself even though I only started to use it just before giving it back.

Re: Do I buy it?

I wouldn't buy another car from JLR. While there's plenty of good to say about the IPace itself the company is appalling. I've had it almost a year now and have had more problems that with any other car I've owned for well over 15yrs, but then I've always had German cars. The problems aren't even re...

Re: Squeaky Bum time

It's a shame you can't carry a spare can of electrons .... ;) How about plugging a domestic inverter into the 12 volts, then use the granny cable to charge the main battery ;) I'm going to set this up permanently through the 12v in the boot in order to have infinite range! Makes you wonder what all...

Re: IONITY pricing

I reckon if each ionity charger was doing 600 kilowatt per day x 4 per site with a electric cost of 15 p per kilowatt 35 p retail cost Could leave a potential profit £87000 per annum minus vat and site operator commission would take a quite a long payback on investment. I think that is why they hav...

Re: JLR Complaints Email

Guildford are a total joke. My friend called them and they basically made it clear that they weren't interested. Then he called Winchester who did what they were supposed to do and he was happy. I've contacted CRC via email and phone. They're more of a Guildford experience. I'm planning on writing a...

Re: IONITY pricing

That is very roughly twice the price of motoring in, say, a 40 mpg ICE car at £6 per gallon. Pretty silly pricing. It wont affect me greatly, as I nearly always charge at home, but it will be massively off-putting to many thinking of going electric. But that's the thing. I'm sure I'm not alone in c...

Re: Technology - keeping a perspective

I'd be more interested in Jaguar acting like the premium brand they sell themselves on. These updates are just the tip of a very large iceberg

Re: Technology - keeping a perspective

It's not my job to educate the dealers. It's not my job to educate CRC. That task should have been completed by JLR.

Re: Technology - keeping a perspective

When I emailed Jag CRC they replied and told me that S19C would only be available if I went to a dealership. Then S19C popped up over SOTA and I installed it over WiFi. When I asked CRC why their advice was incorrect they didn't have an answer other than they "advise customers to get work done at de...
