Re: Charge port door wouldn't close but fixed
2. Does it make any difference? Nobody can steal your electricity from the battery. Sorry to alarm you but 'Car to Grid' is coming! It is possible to take energy out the car. It was a fundamental principal for the CHAdeMO connector! With the CCS connector it is possible but not so easy but totally ...

Re: Charging Issue
Thanks all, it's set at 100 amp and has a dedicated fuse box from the main line. Yes, I suspect it could be the charger. The installer did have a bit of a nightmare installing the kit taking around 6-7 hours! (on average he mentioned 2 hours). In terms of taking it out and putting it back in again ...

Re: Climate ‘breathing’ noise.
Hi all, New here (and to the I Pace life), so not sure if this has been discussed before or is even a thing anyone has witnessed…. When the climate is running (not on auto, and not smart climate) most of the time it’s making like a breathing sound. Imagine being on the phone to someone and they’re ...

Re: Government consultation, have you completed it yet?
I too have completed the survey. I agree with a lot of the comments above, whilst the survey said it was a consultation it felt it was constructed in a way to offer pre-determined outcomes. Having said that, I think we all agree, some uniformity in charging payment and provision is really important...

I have been seriously thinking about one of these, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWRXw ... aDSqmCnxaw.
They supply it but you install it yourself. Has an 18 month battery which you can recharge.

Re: Government consultation, have you completed it yet?
This is written by someone who doesn't understand the market and is aimed at supporting a narrow course.of action that will have little value and drive up costs for us all. So typical Government interaction all told. Interesting you see that in the survey! It was obviously written by a civil servan...

Re: Charge port door wouldn't close but fixed
I only got my 18MY I-Pace 2 days ago so have a lot to learn. I haven't had problems opening or closing the port door but mine doesn't lock, I can open it even when the car is locked, surely this isn't right? 1. No it isn't right, it is supposed to lock but 2. Does it make any difference? Nobody can...

So if they are going all Electric, what are they going to do with the Engine Plant North West of Wolverhampton on the M54.

Re: No Electric XJ
Is it because I-Pace is an individual vehicle being built by Magna and they are trying to reorganise around new overarching platforms at Castle Bromwich?

Re: Fast chargers
Hi, I am new to this forum so apologies if this has been asked before. This weekend, I travelled to Wales and, having started out on a full charge, I needed to recharge after only 140 miles which was disappointing. Does everyone have a similar experience? Also, can the iPace use a Tesla charger? I ...
