Re: Real world range?

I know the range depends on a lot of factors, but I seems to be seeing an estimate of only 235 miles, with a recorded actual distance to 50% charge of only 95 miles ( 190 miles range ) Dave Hi Dave and welcome. I average 190-200 miles range in these temperatures and 230-240 in the warmer months. Th...

Re: Age 55 is the cut off for ev's apparently?

Perhaps we should have a pole to find out how old we are? https://www.ipaceforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1045&p=13765&hilit=age#p13765 This was set up shortly after I took delivery of mine Thincat. I've since moved into the median age band so am approaching the 'cut off' point. I'll have to star...

Re: Range Decline Following In Control Update

I got an average of around 40kWh/100 miles in Jan / Feb / March and 34 in the summer months. Getting close to 40 again this week.

Had a couple of software updates and none have had any noticeable effect on range / consumption.

Re: Merging

I find 513 lb-ft of torque can help determine merging priority. ;)

Seriously though, good video which (almost) resolved a disagreement in my household.

I'm just surprised by how cheap diesel is in the Forest of Dean.

69 litres cost around £90 here! ;)
Ah, Plus VAT :-)
Ah ha! Would be nice to be able to claim that back. Even on the electricity used to charge, but I'm not set up for it.

Re: Rattling noise from the bonnet

If the lip edge of the stowage compartment is under the bumper trim, it sounds right, when it not it's more like a flapping noise than a drone. Can u attach a sound file, ask Ur passenger to do it to keep legal The top of the grille panel (or bumper trim if we're referring to the same thing) is def...

Re: Faulty Battery. Yay.

From what I can tell I'm getting between 60 and 68 KWH out of the battery. I don't know if it is a cell issue or the entire battery, but I'm certainly not getting near the 86 or 87 KWH. I think you've only actually got around 56kWh useable in the battery from your consumption and mileage figures. Y...

Why not use the EPA numbers ?

I-Pace, EPA 234 miles/377km
I agree, much closer to reality and only slightly optimistic in my experience.

I've averaged a total range (and consumption) of almost exactly 90% of the EPA figures in my last 3 EVs - 2013 LEAF, 2018 LEAF and 2019 I-Pace.

Re: Jaguar 3.0ltr Diesel Range

10p per mile diesel cost vs. 5p for electricity?

You'd save enough cash to buy a new I-Pace outright after just 1.2 million miles in an EV! ;)
