I'm hosting an iPace Owner meet up at FullyChargedLive Sunday. All welcome 2pm on the Mezzanine above hall 1

I'll pop up and say hello! How will i find you - is the mezzanine big? (First time this year)

I went today to the location : there was only one table , everybody else was having coffee on the floor.
Besides I informed my contact in JLR and they are supposed to send someone to say hello and may be answer some questions

I hope it all goes well.
I'll be there in spirit but alas not in body. Ardnamurchan is just too nice this weekend. I was at the Lighthouse earlier and within 10 minutes, I'd seen and heard a Cuckoo, seen a deer and watched a pod of Dolphins fishing and I didn't have to move an inch. Saw a Sea Eagle earlier as well!
Silverstone, eat your heart out! :) :)

Can you say which chargers you found working-if you were in the I-pace.
I'm on the Triumph and not in the I-Pace. With 80% of the NC500 done, I have two observations.

1) Not one of the Chargers I have seen have been in use
2) There has been a total dearth of EV's since Glasgow.

On this trip so far, I have seen less than 20 EV's. 6 of those were Leaf's on the back of a transporter. Zoe's and Leafs and one Model X and that is it. 2100 miles covered so far. FWIW, my fuel consumption is 62.4 mpg.

The single track roads have hit the brakes hard. Many foreign drivers don't have a clue so I've been doing a lot of rapid stops. Off to Inverness tomorrow and hope I can find somewhere to replace the pads (I always carry a spare set on trips like this).
Then there was the German (Audi Q8) towing an 8ft wide caravan down single track roads that were mostly narrower than the caravan AND despite clear signs saying 'Not Recommended for Caravans'. I've never seen such a wide caravan on the road (on wheels). Getting anything past it was painful.

I would have much preferred to be in the I-Pace today as the crosswinds were [redacted]. 10-20 gusting to 30mph at times. They would have played havoc with the battery consumption though.

Probably none of the chargers would work with the i_pace anyway.
At least one of them was the more modern type which it supposed to work with the I-Pace.

One retailer told me that the route was already as busy this year as last August and that most Campsites are fully booked.
Campers were close to outnumbering bikers on the roads. BREXIT may have something to do with it (perhaps)
If you were going to do it in the I-Pace, I'd go north from Inverness to Wick and then along the top to say Tongue. That's mostly good roads and not single tracked. With a full charge you from there you will get to Lochinver. Then a charge up in Poolewe or Kinlochinver and you will be good to face the Applecross loop. If you have good weather you really need to saviour the scenery. Then it is an easy side trip to Plockton or the Kyle of Lochalsh and the run back to inverness is a doddle from there with a full charge.

You are forgetting one thing, all the rapid chargers on the NC500 north of Inverness are the old eVolt tri chargers that at this moment in time are incompatible with I-pace so doing it in the I-Pace would be a challenge.
