Hi All,

Hoping for delivery of an Indus Silver S in a couple of weeks. Haven't heard otherwise yet but understandably expecting some delays - there are worse things going on at the moment though!

Just setting up the EV tariff and wondered if anybody wanted to share a link for Octopus?

Cheers

Just managed to find a link to Magna Steyr, who build the IPace, they are currently on a 2 week shut down due parts shortages, which will be reviewed on 30 March.
We can expect new deliveries when they arrive!.

Wow! Good luck tomorrow! The car will come soon enough.
Thanks! It's a planed C-section this time so at least we've been able to plan it a bit.

I think it's in the country, I have the number plate and the lease company tend to organise deliveries only when they physically have the car. Just nobody to deliver it. I'm sure I'll be too busy/tired to notice anyway

Once it arrives you'll be saying "what baby?"

Just kidding!

German media reports today that Magna Werke starts production again.
Not the I-Pace yet ,but the MB G-Class.
But anyway, a slow start is better than complete shutdown.

I know you'll be incredibly busy, but maybe an update when you have time? How's the baby?
Sorry for the delay in replying - I haven't had much spare time recently!

In the end delivery went ahead as planned on the 7th April!! I work in the NHS so it was prioritised apparently.

Loving the commute now with the reduced traffic on the roads. Very impressed with the car, still playing with settings when I get chance.

Oh, and Daisy is doing very well thank you.

I've just had confirmation through from Octopus re the switch so thanks for the referral too.

Congratulations (on the baby) I'm 50/50 to wether my car will arrive before our 2nd child due in August, I'm optimistic though.

Just saw an article saying jaguar just supplied NHS workers with 700 iPace, they must have a few floating about :D

Yes there were 700 offered at a special price on the lease scheme. All S spec with colour as the only option. I really can't complain but I think I'll have to buy some bigger wheels. Great car though even in 'basic' spec. Fingers crossed yours arrives in the summer. Get plenty of sleep now!!!

Hi, Sorry to pick up this comment specifically. I'm also on the 700 NHS vehicles. Since 24/03 fleet have gone quiet and as far as i knew were not delivering any vehicles.
Like yourself I'm still going in everyday. Did you have to prod fleet in order to get prioritised or did it 'just happen' ?

Hi, I had delivery arranged for 07/04 before lockdown then had an email to say that it'd been postponed. At the start of April there was an email from fleet to say that they were back working as normal so I called them and they confirmed that deliveries would be going ahead but not collections. Then I had a voicemail from Jaguar in Newcastle, I believe they're the dealer providing them all, to say that it wasn't happening. When I called them back the next day it was back on.

I'd give them a prod! Just bear in mind they're not collecting, I already had a lease car that I ended earlier to get the offer so there's not a lot of space on the drive at the moment.

Apparently. All the April original delivery units are in the UK. However instead of delivering 50+ units a day, they are only doing 5 units a day currently.

I got a response back from Fleet with the above, but unfortunately (for me) apparently mine is not in that batch :(
